TOMRA was founded on 1 April 1972 in Asker, Norway. Today the company has activities in more than 45 countries around the globe.

TOMRA's operations are organized into four business segments: Collection Technology, Deposit Solutions; Material Handling; Collection Technology, Non-Deposit Solutions, and Industrial Processing Technology. TiTech
