More than 1,200 exhibitors displayed on more than 600,000 square feet at the MINExpo 2008 in Las Vegas.

“This is the largest show of its kind in the world”, MINExpo organization comments, “…and it’s held only once every four years.”

Commodas and UltraSort together took a chance and attended the show. In a 55 sqm booth (#635 North Hall) we presented to the mining industry how it can benefit from sensor-based sorting, we demonstrated our “ConcSort Optical” sorting machine and our new corporate image. Visitors were interested to learn about the possibilities of implementing sensor based sorting for their operations. Everyone gained a good understanding of how efficient pre-concentration, waste rock dump recovery and gem stone recovery can be with the help of sensor based sorters.
