CommodasUltrasort provides a complete product portfolio that facilitates extremely efficient material separation in various minerals and ore applications.

Four product lines are available supporting the specific needs of Run Of Mine applications, Industrial Processing of Minerals, Diamond and Gemstone recovery and Metal Recovery from Slag. For each product line a number of sensors are available to support the specific separation task. Our products can be supplied with a width ranging from 600mm to 3000mm. We also offer many options and ‘add-ons’ that include different resolutions (depending on the size of the objects to be detected), valve block types and configurations. The Gem (GEM) Series consists of specialized equipment for diamonds and gem stone recovery.
Our SLAG Series sorting equipment is specialized in detection and recovery of smallest metal particles in a high tonnage slag feed.

Application Area

High speed precision

The material running through the sorting process is heavy, dusty and abrasive. High demands on the technology on all fronts: Material handling, recognition and pressurized air ejection are combined by CommodasUltrasort in a robust and tested system which reliably separates valuable mineral ores from waste rock.

Regardless of whether diamond, gold, limestone or coal, the sensors recognize the target material on the basis of typical characteristics such as color, atomic density, transparency or conductivity. The range of different advanced recognition technologies by CommodasUltrasort offer the best suited sensor combination for any type of ore. The valuable mineral bearing rock is then selectively extracted using a precise pulse of pressurized air from the high performance nozzle system, regardless of whether it is a small diamond or a heavy lump of ore.

This technology provides top efficiency, precision and speed. Not even the smallest particle sizes evade this intelligent system, even though it works much faster than traditional sorting technologies.
