The Russian CommodasUltrasort test facility has the latest PRO Secondary Color Chute installed for clients full scale production tests on the a wide range of optical sorting applications. Tests of up to 5 tonnes per batch can be accommodated in both mineral and ore samples. Test plant consists of a bunker, conveyors, washing screen, and feeders and allows a circular feeding option. The upstream facility is designed for a throughput of up to 60 tonnes per hour with a feed size range of -80/+20mm.

Additionally to the optical sorting machine a small scale EM test rig for Polymetal ore sorting is available. Hand Samples up to 50 kg, size range -80/+5mm can be tested by single particle analysis.

Beside the sorter performance tests CommodasUltrasort is able to offer in collaboration with GeoTestService[Link to Partners, Geotestservice] and the ROSATOM Institute “VNICHT” full services as customer feasibility studies or feed preparation services including ROM sizing and crushing. Full spectrum of sample preparation and analysis can be done on site at “VNICHT” where the test center is located.
